CowParade 2000 was an exhibition held in New York City. Four hundred and fifty artists painted cow sculptures that were displayed in all five boroughs. After the exhibition closed, the cows were sold at auction for charity.
Strawberry MIlkshake Cow stood on the corner of 72nd Street and Central Park West where the entrance to Central Park leads to Strawberry Fields and the memorial to John Lennon.
Strawberry Milkshake Cow was pictured in the official CowParade catalog. It was also one of thirty-eight cows on the exhibition poster, and included in the CowParade 2000 calendar.
